Welcome to the WordMerchant Publishing Book Review Section. Here you will find an ever-expanding collection of reviews on books from every genre and era. We seek reviewers who convey a personal journey through the literary world, offering their own emotional and intellectual reactions books, rather than attempting to coldly analyze them from a technincal or commercial standpoint. We think you will find these reviews refreshingly different and stimulating.

Our Critical Editor, Hack Taylor, has called upon Rev. Angie Theisen, a lifelong essayist, speech writer and voracious reader, who writes reviews that have a unique ability to lay bare the heart and soul of a book without revealing details about the plot and characters that would spoil the read for a first-timer. Her personal relationships with several authors, coupled with her plain-talk style of writing, lend credibility and convey an understanding of what the author has attempted and accomplished with each book.
